Primary Curriculum
In the Montessori environment, children get an opportunity to respond to their innate ability to learn. There are variety of activities which are divided into different areas:

Practical Life
The practical life activities are simple tasks of daily life and are built on the child's natural interests and help them develop good work habits, concentration, eye hand coordination, lengthened attention span and control of their body.

Sensorial
Our senses connect our inner life with the physical environment that surrounds us. Our life is enriched with our senses. The prepared environment provides a wide range of materials which are designed to help the child develop their ability to order and classify the general information they receive and to distinguish what is essential. It also helps them to enlarge the field of perception and build a solid foundation for intellectual growth, to abstract the concepts and ideas from many concrete experiences.

Language
Language is applied to every part of the prepared environment and is used extensively. Through language we give the child the key to communicate effectively with others. The language activities help the child with expansion of language as well as prepares them for writing and reading through visual recognition of letters and the recognition of sounds to construct those letters.

Math
Children possess a mathematical mind that leads them to logic and order of things. The math activities enables them to get a sense of physical quantity and then helps them associate this to numbers. These activities help children in counting and also introduces the concept of sets. Children are also introudced to the four basic operations of math: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Science
Children are introduced to botany and zoology through plants and animal puzzles along with three part cards. Children learn about various parts of plants and animals through the puzzles.
Children also learn about life cycles, and everyday concepts like magnetic/non-magnetic and sink/float. These activities help the children enhance their perception of everyday things.

Cultural Activities
Various cultures are presented respectfully through stories and collections of pictures, music and celebrations in the prepared environment. These activities help the child learn the basics in geography and history.

The prepared environment has many activities that help to focus on nurturing the child's creativity. It helps to develop their personality as well as their creative thinking.
